I love finding unique ways to decorate all rooms.. including kids rooms. When your just starting out let's face it.. there is so much expense!.. If it's a nursery, then it's cots, change tables etc.. and for bigger kids beds &matressess.. then all the linen... So it's nice to find lovely ideas... that don't cost the earth!

I love the Twig.. for hanging, mobiles.. and here as the anchor for this gorgeous bed canopy. They look great and they are free!.. Yay!.. So you can spend more on that cot, amoire or gorgeous bedside.. Perfect!

To Teepee or not?

Ok.. I must admitt.. I am a big fan of the teepee. Coming from a childcare background I know our precious beings love a hidey hole, cubby.. place where they can own it.

My lovely Mum is making Cooper one for his new big room, and I know he will love it.. He spends a lot of his time hiding & playing under the dining table.. So this will be his own space to play, read.. hide.. well whatever HE likes!.. What do you think?

Weekend Again..

Wow.. where does the week go!.. I don't know about you.. But in this house this week we've been talking about always rushing!.. It's what we seem to do.. get up & rush around like mad things!.. Everywhere all day. Thank goodness the weekend is here.. I get to sit in my PJ's.. clean, blog.. organise!

I hope you get to have a little time for you this weekend. I'm organising a surprise for my Mum's b'day tomorrow. Will post some pics this weeks. Look at this panelling.. I am obsessed with panelled rooms!.. Hope Mum's b'day table looks as pretty as this!

My girlfriend is expecting her second bundle later this year! So it's all about Nurseries at the moment. Such an exciting time planning the room for a new addition to your family.. I just loved planning Cooper's Room.. which led to this blog.. and hope to do it again! Above are some gorgeous rooms that I had as my favourites..... Love them all.. Still!

He is in a big boy bed now!.. about to upgrade his room too.. Can't wait to show you stage 2!.

Cold & rainy here.. Not great for getting renovations done!.. Maybe DVD's & Nachos!..
