Parties!

Well as Cooper's 1st b'day fast approaches.. we are in full party planning mode in this house.. something I haven't really done on a grand scale before..So excited but stressed all in the same breath!.. Must admit.. having fun planning it all though!.. So far we've decided on a Farm Theme!.. I found these images on Flikr while looking for inspiration.. Look at those cupcakes!!!.. Way too cute.

Until now I didn't realise how much I really would want one!.. But it's in the plans for the next place.. the dream place we will build.. and this is my inspiration..Hope you like it too!

Bunting!

Ok.. So I'm a little obessed with Bunting at the moment!.... I'm planning Cooper's 1st b'day and Mum & I are making some for the front of his dessert table.. I love it for decorating though.. here are some of my girl faves.. How cute is this second pic!.. I just love this room!

I See Red!!!

Ok. I know I've posted about my love for Red before.. But I can't help but love it more and more.. I just keep finding amazing pieces for rooms in red!..

I was telling my Mum about my love for Red and how I plan to use it in Cooper's room as he gets older.. and she reminded me that my room was Red & White when I was little.. "Ahh I said..I remember.. and I loved it".. Maybe that's where the love of Red comes from! x

Well I'm just starting to put things together for my boy's 1st B'day..I like to be organised.. So into it I go... and seeing as though this my very first attempt..I really don't know what I'm doing!.. Anyway it's heaps of fun planning.. Owl's are the focal point.. When my son was born.. it was Spring!.. so many gorgeous flowers were in bloom including my favourites!.. Hydrangeas!

A few of my lovely friends gave me pots of them.. and as his 1st b'day approaches.. I've decided they will be the flower of choice for the sweet table and on my front verandah!...

I found it a little hard to find lovely different things for Cooper's room when I was putting it together.. I had alwats seen so many amazing little girls rooms.. but nothing that really struck me with the boys.. although these two did!.. Enjoy..
